An Army veteran turned river guide, Chase reminds us all that you never know where life will take you next.

His youthful enthusiasm for the river is both refreshing and infectious, making every trip a blast. Growing up in Garden Valley, just a couple of hours from Riggins, Chase spent his free time exploring the outdoors and enjoying life on the water. When he married his wife Lotus, who is from Riggins, we figured we had to get him on the crew!

After leaving the Army, Chase decided to try his hand at guiding—and he was hooked! He quickly realized that sharing the outdoors with others, whether it’s on a drift boat chasing steelhead or on overnight camping trips from rafts, is his true passion.

For Chase, there’s nothing more rewarding than connecting with people out in nature.
